It has been ages since we last updated our blog. As a result, we have a bunch of pictures from various adventures to share with you.
Gizmo always loves hanging out with her cousin Neila.
Megan was able to catch a rare moment of Gizmo and I watching dog videos together on youtube. They're Gizmo's favorite.
For Valentine's Day we treated ourselves to some tickets to see the band Passion Pit. They were awesome. Although, our lives weren't nearly as exciting that night as that girl sitting behind us.
We tried to go to the zoo one day. But, we got there too late and they wouldn't let us in. So we took some pictures by the awesome metal sculptures they have outside instead.
There is this random old car-skelton thing just sitting in the middle of a grassy patch at Forest Park. What else do you do when you come upon such a thing but strike a pose and snap a picture?
My sister and brother-in-law were nice enough to hook us up with some free tickets to ride a helicopter. Yeah, you read that right. A HELICOPTER.
The view was amazing!
Would this blog be complete without an over the top adorable photo of our beloved pooch? We didn't think so either.
Megan was able to sneak away one weekend to spend some time in Las Vegas with all the ladies in her family. Here is her grandma weaving magic.
We found this recipe for potatoes on the internet and had to try it. Basically, you cut a series of slices in a potato and then alternate putting cheese and butter in each slice. It's super healthy.
Magic.
For our six year anniversary we took a family camping trip.
Gizmo loves the outdoors. She literally tries to jump on every single rock she can find.
The lovely ladies!
We encountered a treacherous river! Like the kind of river that you try to ford in Oregon Trail but then you end up losing half your oxen team, your sister gets dysentery, and most of your supplies wash away. We weren't taking any chances with Gizmo, so I carried her across.
Gizmo is quite the little swimmer!
Gizmo was able to dry off under the table when we got back from hiking.
Setting up the tent might be one of my favorite camping activities.
Sadly, there were a bunch of other dogs in the area so Gizmo had to stay on her leash the whole time.
After our weekend adventure Megan and I were pretty tired so Gizmo volunteered to drive us all back home. Who says you need to reach the pedals anyway?

Love your Oregon Trail references. Made me smile :-)
