My car, the Red Rocket, finally died.
I had a short memorial service as the tow truck drove away. Here's to dirt roads you could hardly handle, multiple break-downs, road trips, broken A/C, a broken stereo, keyless entry without power door-locks, manual windows, that one time when the passenger side dashboard had water flowing out of it like Niagara Falls, and that gross bra that you used to have. You were the best.
Megan is knee deep in her 2L year. Word on the street is that it just keeps getting better.
Gizmo has been finding plenty of time to nap.....at least when we aren't putting her onto tricycles.
Some friends of mine from high school, Katie, Miles, and Ziggy (well Ziggy didn't go to our school....something about not having thumbs) live in the same apartment building as us. We watched the Rocky Mountain Showdown with them on Saturday. This was about all the joy they could muster after CSU's 22-17 win!
Gizmo decided to join us for coffee this morning.
Through work I was able to get some sweet suite seats to the Cardinals game today!
Unfortunately it's hard to find good beer at Busch Stadium for obvious reasons. My friend, Liz, found my misfortune amusing.
We received a visit from a special guest during the game!
Not a bad way to end the three-day weekend.
